Latest version of DVRRDK?

All-

Can someone please let me know the latest version of DVRRDK?  (We're currently evaluating DVRRDK_01.09.00.06 on a DM8148 EVM.)

Is there somewhere that official release notifications are posted, or do I need to pester my FAE periodically?

    As far as I know, the last version of RDK is 2.00.00.24.

    Hmm, the most recent one that I've heard of as a full release is 02.00.00.23. There is a new one due out soon, but that may mean a few weeks or more.

    You can download RDK 02.00.00.24 from UDWorks site. It is a "full release" RDK, i.e. it contains GUI code, too. The main difference with 02.00.00.23 is the AVSync code: it has been totally rewritten.

    Yes, 02.00.00.23 is the version our FAE provided.  Thanks all for the input.

    ...Would certainly be nice if there was a bit more open communication w.r.t. release dates / feature roadmap / etc. so that we can plan and allocate our development resources appropriately...  :)

    Hi All,

    Ver 2.00.00.24 which is a GA release with complete GUI source code is already released on UDWorks website and Ti myRegisteredSoftware. I hope you have got notificatins for the same.

    There is a newer release planned in end of May (delayed from 18th May) which takes care of additional features required particularly for load balancing in NVR applications. If you are not intending for NVR feature set, you can continue using DVR RDK ver 2.00.00.24

    We will take care to have better and improved communication going forward.

    Thanks for the confirmation.

    We're currently using TI's  "lite" version of the DVRRDK package; we're designing for a multi-channel encode/decode PCI card solution, so no GUI needed.  Our FAE was able to provide us with the 02.00.00.23 package.

    Should this also be available via myRegisteredSoftware?

    We've only ever received releases through our FAE, and I'm not aware of any other official channel for notification of updates (i.e. I'd prefer not to have to email him periodically looking for release and/or feature status), hence my above request.

    I greatly appreciate any effort towards better notifications / updates / etc. going forward!

    You should check with your FAE to see about a new GA release this week.
