DM8168 EVM board HDMI and VGA port outputting problems

Hi All,

I bought a DM8168 EVM board (Rev G) with ezsdk_dm816x-evm_5_01_01_80_setuplinux in SD card, but I found there is an newer sdk on ti website, so I download  ezsdk_dm816x-evm_5_04_00_11_setuplinux and use this version to start my development.

1.

Recreate the SD card using the mksdboot.sh in the sdk _5_04_00_11, then connect the TV monitor supplied in the EVM package to the HDMI output (P6 port), switch the TV monitor mode to HDMI, but it always shows "NO SIGNAL INPUT" and the serial port print ""E-EDID checksum failed!!"" , so I connect the TV monitor to my Laptop and it's display is correct. I doubt if EVM board has something wrong, but I connect the HDMI output port to my own TV set (another TV),  the display is ok, it can show the Matrix GUI.

can anyone tell me why?

2.

Connect  the VGA output port (J2) to pc input port of my own TV set (mentioned int problem 1, it supports up to 1080p60) , but I see nothing is displayed on TV, so why?

Thanks in advance.
