Hi,

    I recently ordered a BeagleBoard -xM which has the DM3730 processor. I am planning to implement a Face Recognition code onto it. I firstly developed the code in MATLAB and tried to implement it on DSK6416 but wasn't successful. So I decided to go for beagleboard. Can anyone suggest which IDE to be used?

I am currently getting familiar with Ubuntu 11.04. What other options are available for embedded?

    hi lovelesh,

    i won't be of any use to you however what you are implementing is quite similar to what i will be doing; the only difference being i want 3D VR in the design.

    how have you been going on with your design? i have just posted my first enquiry into the forumn. i am absolute newbie and don't know where to begin from but i do know that i will be getting a beagleboard-xM with DP3730 on it. the online documentation is very complex but i would very much like to know how you got started if you could please offer some advise.
