It is possible that you already get your question answered. Do you know that there is a section in the TRM - 9.2.1.6.2 IEEE 802.1Qav? Or you are aware of that and you want to know something else?

Thanks for the rply. I was waiting for someone to rply on this post. Actually what i come to know that (Reading posts on this forum) Qav is supported in DM814x processor, but this doesn't work. I have read the reference manual and change the register values but it seems no effect on the output. my  question is that is it enough to change the values of registers or i have to do something else to make it work ? Nothing is given in the manual about how to make it work other than configuring registers.  Plz help me.

so you can enter "case: CONFIG_SWITCH_RATELIMIT" clause <EZSDK_HOME>/board-support/linux-2.6.37-psp04.04.00.01/drivers/net/cpsw.c

Also make sure that you use EZSDK 5_04_00_11 (or greater in the future).
