Booting Linux with initramfs if the size of the compressed image > 16M

Hello,

I working on DM8148 Evaluation board with psp version TI81XXPSP_04.04.00.01, I am trying to boot linux using initramfs, The linux image with initramfs boots fine if the size is less than 16M(Compressed image), but if i increase the size of initramfs greater than 16M, the kernel hangs after Starting kernel ... Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel. Any size limit constraint on the linux images, Any help regarding this is highly appreciated .

Thanks & Regards,
Rakesh.
