DM8168 question

Hi everyone,

i'm new to this forum.

I'm interested in use the DM8168, eventually with the 2D/3D graphics core in a desktop computer. The computer is PowerPC based. I would like to know if there are PCI/PCI express card based on the DM8168, and what are the possibility to develop a driver for such card.

The DM8168 can act as an endpoint as I understand it. I myself have achieved ~420MB/s data rate using the PCIe bus on the DM8168 (as host/root complex) so there is no reason why you couldn't too. The EZSDK provides driver examples for PCIe too.

The motherboard have only one 1x free pci-express. Could the dm8168 be connected in this way?
