full development capability on AM335x

I am trying to building a full feature EtherCAT application for having full development capability on AM335x. I followed the described steps, downloaded the EtherCAT stack version 5.0 from beckhoff and extracted the slave files. while applying the patch I am getting many fails and by looking into the patched files it is evident that not all of the changes were applied. I tried to change some of the fields manually but still I couldn’t build the project (due to missing and undefined constants).

Do you maybe have an idea what could be the problem?

Are you sure you didn't download the currently-unsupported 5.01 stack as described in http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/sitara_arm174_microprocessors/f/791/t/188752.aspx?

Many thanks for the quick answer.

I have received the EtherCAT stack version 5.00 from ETG and managed to apply the patch correctly. But there's still some problem with building up the application. While trying to build the “ecat_appl” application, I am always getting the following messages about the corrupt “TcHelper.lib” file

error: Corrupt member header: '../EcatStack/TcHelper.lib'

error #10010: errors encountered during linking; "ecat_appl.out" not built

Does someone also encounter this problem?

There is something wrong with your project or make files. There is no TcHelper.lib required to compile the IA-SDK EtherCAT examples.Can you provide any more details?
