ERROR: Invalid thread state transition

I designed a project with DSP/BIOS 5.41 on TMS320F28035. When I debugged the project on my board, I always got several error messages of "65535 PRD: begin SEM Posts (0x0000), ERROR: Invalid thread state transition" as shown. Moreover, I failed to watch variables in some tasks, but in other tasks the variables can be watched successfully.

Miao,

The error "invalid state transition" is reported by the host-side tooling when the log buffer contains some state transitions that don't make sense to it and so it can't decode it properly. It doesn't mean any particular error in itself -- it is a debugger error.

It's not clear what from your message what kind of problem you are really trying to solve. One thing that you should look out for is whether your log buffer is getting corrupted somehow -- perhaps because your stack allocation is not sufficient.

The problem is fixed. I updated my project to CCS5.1, ant then it works well.
