I went through the AM335x Sysbios SDK release notes (01.00.00.03). This doc states that some stuff is
(currently?) not supported. See also http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/sitara_arm174_microprocessors/f/791/t/188991.aspx.
Can you please clarify these two issues:
1) DC is not supported: is DC only not supported by the examples (application/stack) from the SDK or is this a general issue with the current PRU EtherCAT firmware.
The first case will be ok for us. The latter would be bad. So are the AM335x external LATCH/SYNC signals fully working for DC applications?
2) Redundancy is not supported: in my understanding redundancy is a master side functionality. In the above linked topic TI says that it is also listed in the silicon errata.
The only PRU related advisory is 1.0.4. Do you mean this? OR did I miss something?
