AM35x PM suspend and DDR clock

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3505, AM3517

Dear all,

I'm working with our custom AM3505 based board, trying to reduce power consumption in suspend to ram mode (while running linux, of course).

I'm working with kernel 2.6.37 and removed all our custom driver. At the moment only UART and ethernet driver are builtin.

Due the fact that power consumption in suspend is too high (compared with AM3517 EVM) I've added some debug into the PM core and seen that:

[  136.311004] Powerdomain (core_pwrdm) didn't enter target state 1
[  136.311035] Could not enter target state in pm_suspend

By looking at hardware too, I've seen that, even in suspend, DDR clock is running (but it should be disabled).

IIUC the situation, some clock is still enabled and prevent core power domain to stop

Could anybody help me in how to debug this and solve this issue? I still wondering which clock is still active.

Some other user (e.g. http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/sitara_arm174_microprocessors/f/416/p/114727/410842.aspx#410842) has a similar issue but still unsolved.

Best Regards and Thanks in advance,

Andrea
