HOW to test the DDR sdram on OMAP 3530

Hello:

         My board is so called next-generation,so use 256M DDR SDRAM.So the u-boot shows 256MB LPDDR.

         BUT,I found the code in uboot does not init the SDRC,all the init code for SDRC was done in X-LOAD.

         SO can any one tell me how to test the DDR size?if the command could be applied in UBOOT is appreciated.
