Based on the information in the technical reference manual, the SGX graphics accelerator can be used for "general purpose processing" however, I have come up empty as far as supporting documentation for this purpose. Everything that we have points back to the Graphics SDK. I have a customer who has inquired about this and the best feedback that I can provide would be for them to familiarize themselves with the SDK and possibly use it as a blueprint for developing their own APIs for general purpose processing.
Is there anything additional that I can provide to my customer or would general purpose processing be something that the SGX accelerator is possible of doing but is not something that we support since it falls beyond the "intended use"?
Any insight you can offer is greatly appreciated.
