Which codec is Demo(e.g. Gstreamer 1080p) using in DM816x Eval. board?

Hi

Q1 . On Matrix launcher application of DM816x Evaluation board,I see there are several icons under demo (Capture and Encode 1080p , Decode and Display 1080p, Gstreamer 1080p) Which codec are these demo using?

Q2. Is HDVPSS active by default on the evaluation board when I encode or decode 1080p video with H.264 codec?
