C6747/5: Is internal Pull down/up always effective ?

Hi,

Let me confirm that, internal Pull up/down on C6747/5 (Omapl-135/7 ) are always effective, such as during reset  ?

And also, when usual signal is provide on the I/O pin which has IPD/IPU, will those pins be electrical damaged ? or just any unexpected behavior, such as that any current will come out from anywhere in different pins?

best regards,

    Yes, that's right.

I'm not 100% sure that I understand the question.  Are you asking: is it OK to drive a signal into a pin that has an IPU/IPD?  If so, the answer is yes.  The pull really just determines the behavior of that pin when it is NOT being driven, so there is an expectation that you will be driving that pin at least some of the time.  You add a pull up or pull down just so the behavior is pre-determined when you are not driving it.  So no issue, if I've understood the question.

    Thanks,
