Hello,

We are working with secured C6748.

Is the EMAC of the device dedicated to a specific Ethernet PHY manufacturer or a specific Ethernet PHY configuration?

    Anatoly,

    No. You can choose from many different PHY devices. I do not have a list of those. Our drivers may be expecting certain features, so you would want to check for any limitations from our drivers, or plan to develop your own.

    The easiest thing to do is to use one from an EVM design where you can first test it with the drivers to make sure everything works the way you want it to work.
