Hi,

we plan to configure a new design based on AM3359 with pinmux.

I want to know if i have the possiblitiy to work with unused pin in the interface MMC0 for other configuration. for example, I m using MMC0 interface with signals mmc0_D[0:3], mmc0_clk and mmc0_cmd. can i use the rest of signals mmc0_D[4:7] for the UART1 (io set 1) ?!! i deselect the unused pin on MMC0 manually and i added the ioset for uart1. is that possible ?!

We did the same.

As discussed here (http://is.gd/kQgSVT), we are allowed to deselect pins in any valid I/O set so I believe that this setup is valid.

However, our design was not finished yet and we do not have boards for real tests.

It was not validated yet but I hope to finish schematics in next weeks.

If I find any problem I will report here, ok ?

i m working on the schematics too. it's nice to get your feedback since there is no way to check our new configurations.
