DM368IPNC reference design

 Hi all,

I want to know how can we optimize the dm368ipnc reference code for product

point of view e.g lets say our final product is box type ip net camera which can suppport

H.264 HD at 30 frames/sec.One step i can think is we can remove the test application code

from the software before building the binaries for final product point of view. But

1.How can we optimize the software in order to increase performance. Is there any redundant code

that might be useful for debugging purpose but not required in final product.

2.How can i optimize the file system. Is there any document which we can use to optimize the filesystem code.

3.We can migrate to latest software 3.0 from 2.6 but 3.0 for sony IMX036 is not yet developed by Appro.

4.Other than that what steps are must in reference design to develop a final product from it.

Thanks and Regards,

Mayank

  • Mayank,

Are you trying to productize IPNC design? PathPartner might be able to help you out as we have good expertise in DM36x IPNC platform. Contact us: renjith.thomas@pathpartnertech.com

  • Hello Mayank,

What is the usecase you trying to achieve and what are the issue you are facing?

Test app code is never getting executed and will be used only when you have some modules to be tested in this framework.

RDK has been well optimized and we dont think there is any redundant unoptmized code lying there.

Can you please give more details so that we can help ?

    Regards,

    Raghu
