Issue with 1080i HDMI display on DM8148 EVM

Hi

I have been trying to test the 1080i (interlaced) display on DM8148 EVM using EZSDK 5.0.4 with the 'display' demo example provided by TI.   I have tried to play a 1080i   YUV422 format file , but I don't see the display clearly . I see the video display being split into 2 parts (only upper half of the frame is visible which is split into 2 parts). Also the colors are not proper and the bottom half of frame is filled with noise.

I used ffmpeg to convert the original 1080i YUV420Sp to yuv422 format and verified that it is properly played back using pyuv player on my host machine.

Can someone verify and confirm if the 1080i display works fine on the DM8148 EVM with EZSDK 5.0.4 ? Also please share some more test samples of 1080i YUV422 files. Please share the information on 1080i was tested .

Thanks & Regards

Subhadra J
