In table 30-22 SPI Buffer Register (SPIBUF) Field Descriptions of L138 TRM SPRUH77, SPIBUF.RXEMPTY field is said to SET when either
· Hosts reads the SPIBUF field (“the SPIBUF field” should refer to RXEMPTY field)
· Host reads the whole SPIBUF register
It doesn’t seem to make sense because RXEMPTY basically is an indication bit, and it should not change value (including set) when host reads it. I suspect it might be a typo and the correct text should be “When host reads the SPIBUF RXDATA field”?
