EMIFB in DDR mode Question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138

In the process of setting up our OMAP-L138 processor, we were heavily dependant upon the tools provided by TI.  In the case of the mobile DDR, we fundamentally copied values/code to support that.  This was all fine and good until we received a mandate that the memory size "may change at any time".  Is there a way with the current TI tools (e.g. functions available) to be able to put the mDDR in a pseudo safe state enough to get the Status Register Definition Value?  If we know the size of the device (a micron mDDR part) we can set the PAGE_SIZE bits accordingly in the SDCR register.

Not looking for a handout (even though i'll take it) but a pointer to a document (app note) which deals with configuring DDR "on the fly".

Thanks!
