I am beginning about pandaboard, i need to activate the test pattern generator (color bar, color burst) on OMAP 4430

I am working on PANDABOARDs Rev A3 and Rev A4. I have no idea how to enable them.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

If you want an utility to test the display, please take a look at the fbtest under http://elinux.org/Board_Bringup_Utilities. This sends a color pattern to the framebuffer, so you can test your panel. The source code is available, so you can modify it to send only a single color, red for instance.
