HI

unable to find the driver for the same, when using with XP Pro, driver is automatically detecting and working fine.

i am working on WInCE 7,i could not find any driver for working .

please help me where i can find driver for the panda board OMAP4430

  • What WEC7 image are you using on your PandaBoard? Did you build it yourself using Platform Builder and an appropriate BSP?

    Anyway the driver you will need for connecting the PandaBoard to you Windows 7 PC entirely depends on the USB profile exposed by the PandaBoard. If you have access to the registry of your board, look for the following key that should point out the default USB profile that is used by your board:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\USB\FunctionDrivers]

    "DefaultClientDriver"=???? ;

  • DefaultClientDriver : Serial_Class driver

    i am building with the appropriate BSP for PandaBoard. i am unable to identify the device on my desktop (Windows 7 64bit) in the device manager.it is just showing Unknown Device. I am unable to get bootup messages in the serial port(Tera Term). for this i may need the device to be identify in the Device Manager with Device name.

  • This forum does not cover the WEC7 BSPs for OMAP4 chips, hence we cannot help you much with your issue. Please turn to the providers or the PandaBoard WEC7 BSP you have for better support.
