Hi everyone.

 if DSP6678 should be connected to Virtex5 with SRIO.the DSP6678's srio pins should be connected to the GTX pins of virtex5 directly?thanks

    Guoping Lee,

    I think this is a question best asked of Xilinx. If these pins are what they recommend for use with SRIO and with their SRIO logic module, their answer will be what you need.

    If someone on this forum has done this already, perhaps they will also answer you.

    Guoping Lee,

    Are you asking if they should be AC Coupled, DC Coupled or Direct connected?  If this is your question, we specify this in our hardware design guideleines which can be found on the TMS320C6678 website in the Application Notes section.
