How to let application reports error if executing ARM binary gets killed?

Hi,

I am using rdk2.0, and found that if ARM application is not programmed well such as invalidate pointer access, the program just hang and would not exit and report "sigterm reported", just saw the process is in D status. That is terrible when guys try develop ARM parts because he would not know what is wrong? I doubt this happens also on SDK. Could I have some solutions for it so other people can wok on it easier?

Many thanks.
