Bringing GUI (IDE) of AM335x SDK

I recently installed **ti-sdk-am335x-evm-05.04.01.00-Linux-x86-Install** into ubuntu 10.04.
Ubuntu is running on VMware 4.1 as a guest and the host system is Windows XP.
After installing the the SDK through terminal i got same files as shown on this link : http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Sitara_Linux_Software_Developer%E2%80%99s_Guide

To bring up the GUI part, i went through the installation and got some more new files but were unable to locate any icon (IDE) for graphical interface.
Could anyone help me about this.

Or can tell me how to bring the GUI IDE of this SDK ?

Nitin,

what GUI do you expect? CodeComposer Studio needs to be installed independently. Last time I used the SDK the CCS installer was not included. I think you need to look at the wiki again.

Thanks for your Information Frank.

While installing the SDK on ubuntu 10.04, somewhere a pop up appeared saying that CCS package is not found.

So how do to i get installed that CCS into my ubuntu 10.04 ?

And what are the steps to be taken to bring the GUI ?

Thanks Patton I got it working now and the next issue am facing is to write a simple program and running it on CCS. Could you guide me for this?

I followed a particular link for writing a simple program but after finishing the code i was unable see the output. Does it has to be appeared on some kind of simulator/console? HOw to see the output of my program ?

Can programming be done through vi editor for AM335x EVM? And if yes then is there any need to customize the kernel to make an environment for programming ? And moreover how to do that in case ? Please help out.
