Hi, All.

We have 5 years old project on the base of:

CCS 3.3 DSPBIOS + Codecs(H264ENC+MPEG4ENC+JPEGDEC+JPEGENC) + Platform Support Package (drivers I2C, McBSP, GPIO, etc).

Now we need to migrate to CCS5. Seems we also should replace the DSP/BIOS by SYS/BIOS.

So my question is: Is there new releases of PSP for SYSBIOS? Should we use the DSP/BIOS instead of SYS/BIOS because of Codecs/Drivers?

There have been a lot of new releases of software in the past 5 years. Your question belongs in the software-oriented BIOS Forum instead of this C64x Multi-core Forum, so this thread will be moved there.

They will be able to help you better, but they will need to know which device you are using and which version of the software packages you are using.

Which device are you using? If you haven’t seen these, the release notes for each SYS/BIOS release list the supported devices. We're on the TMS320DM6437.

I found that the actual version of SYS/BIOS supports our device. But we also need a drivers (Platform Support Package).

What is the current state of PSP for SYS/BIOS? Should we implement all drivers?
