Hi Srinivas,
Could you please tell me which Android Release or Ubuntu Release are you using?
Are you printing it before the serial communications is set up as part of the init sequence for X-loader?
As per my understanding, you can view the prints only after the serial communications initialization is done.
Can you provide more details on where exactly you are trying to insert to prints?
Thanks & Best Regards,
Venkat
Hi Venkat,
I have a custom board similar to Beagle Board. i am using android release 3.0.
yes. i am using printf after serial init. and even i noticed that the printf statement with in print_info function is also not printing in my minicom window.
I too cross verified and confirmed CFG_PRINTF is defined.
I am trying to do the pattern test with SDRAM in x loader, so i am inserting the printf.
My code is working fine in u-boot. for your reference i have attached the file. Please let me know if you need any information.
Thanks & Regards

Srinivas,
Which OMAP device are you using? (for example, OMAP4430, OMAP4460?)
Which x-loader source code are you using? (from http://git.omapzoom.org/?p=repo/x-loader.git;a=summary ?)
Can you please share the console log from bootup? Do you see any prints in x-loader or just not the SDRAM prints that you inserted?
Thank you,
Gina
