driverlib support under SYS\BIOS

Is driverlib.lib supported in SYS/BIOS?

I'm using a TI Concerto part.

I have been using the peripheral Driver Library without SYS/BIOS successfully.

Now I need to port my code to run on SYS/BIOS.

Has an example program been written that uses both SYS/BIOS and driverlib.lib?

  • Tim,

What is your timeframe for needing this?  There is a product in limited beta release at the moment that supports UART, USB, EMAC, I2C, GPIO and SD drivers with SYS/BIOS.  It is scheduled for general release in mid-July.

  • Hi Scott,

    Thanks for responding so quick.
I was assuming till now that driverlib would work in SYS/BIOS.
I have been writing a single threaded program using driverlib to test the circuits on our target.
I need to start on the production code which has to be multiple threaded.
I would like to look at the product you have in beta to see if it might work for us.
  • Hi,

I am new to TI platform and sys/bios.

I want to write a UART driver in SYS/BIOS for DM8148 which has one cortex A8(currently running with linux), 1 dsp core(currently running with sys/bios), 2 cortex m3(currently running with sys/bios).

Can I use the Stellarisware driverlib in sys/bios? If not then what is the best way to understand and start writing a driver?

    I appreciate any help.

    Thanks
