How to give the XGA (1024 X 768) 18bit RGB (R0-5, G0-5 B0-5) raw data from the host system to DM368??
Hi Renjith,
I having a camera sensor interfaced to the host processor which is doing image enhancement, correction, etc and it is giving out the 18bit RGB data that is R0-5 G0-5 and B0-5 and the synchronization clock, this is the raw pixel data so i want to do the capturing and compression using DM368, hence kindly help
Hammaad,
Basically your system is like this. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
camera sensor --> Host Processor --> DM368.
If you are getting RGB-666 output from Host processor, you'll be able to hook it to VPFE and it supports only 16-bit. You can ignore 2 or 3-bits and give it a try.
