we are using omap3525 (CBB package) on a custom board. We noticed that reading the internal temperature sensor (as documented in section 7.4.6 of TRM) leads to strange results. In detail, there are differences up to 8-9°C between readings on different boards at the same cpu load, environment and power consumption conditions. Temperatures measured by a thermal camera of each cpu are very similar, the deviation between them is only about 1-2 degrees.
Are we missing something or is this the expected behaviour of the sensor?
