I cannot see SYS/BIOS in my CCS 5.2 evaluation version

Hi,

I download CCS 5.2 Windows free evaluation and it works well. From the on line tutorial videos, I realize that the new SYS/BIOS has many new features. I only see DSP/BIOS when I select "File/New/DSP/BIOSv5.x configuration File". I see the folder structure is:

When I right click a project, then "Property", it shows at the bottom: 

DSP/BIOS support

DSP/BIOS version: 5.41.11.38

I click "More" button at the right side. It shows present setting: "Select tool version: 5.41.11.38". There is no other bios version in the pull down bar.

Then, I press radio button "Select tool from file-ssytem:" Even I select the folder: "C:\ti\bios_6_33_05_46", press "OK", the DSP/BIOS version is still 5.41.11.38. What is wrong with my system? How can I get version 6 DSP/BIOS?

    Is my problem related to XDCtools installation?

    I just check a project property. It is not shown as a thread metioned:

     Project->Properties->CCS Build->XDCtools->Advanced Options

     

    My project property is:

     Project->Properties->Build

    There is no CCS Build. There is no XDCtools. But I have installed XDCtools before. There is XDCtools folder: C:\ti|xdctools_3_23_03_53. As I click: Start\All Programs\XDCtools 3.23.03.53, there are several XDC applications. One is XDC Repository Manager. What is wrong with my system?

    Robert,
    how did you create your project? Have you imported it from somewhere or you started a new CCS Project from scratch? When you create a new project and select a DSP/BIOS 5 example as a template for your project, you can't add SYS/BIOS 6 to that project. The easiest way to create a new SYS/BIOS project is to click New->CCS Project, and select one of the SYS/BIOS 6 examples from the Project templates.

    Also, when you open project properties, there is a link in the left corner that allows you to display advanced settings. Click on it and you will see CCS Build, CCS General and other advanced settings.

    Finally, you can see the list of installed RTSC products at Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->RTSC->Products. Depending on the type of a project, some or all of these products can be added to a project.
