Hai All,

We are doing a PDA based on AM3354 Processor and need composite video out. As you know that composite video out is not directly supported on AM3354, kindly suggest some TI solutions to generate composite video using external chip solution. Quick response would be appreciated.

Thanks for the response

Iam not sure if I can get the interlaced video out of AM3354. This will work provided AM3354 can output the interlaced video. Otherwise I may need a chip with scan conversion (Progressive to Interlaced)

Erfan,

I could not figure out from the TRM whether it supports interlaced mode. But have you checked whether ADV7342 supports progressive mode? I didn't read the datasheet fully, but it looks like it supports progressive mode.
