Exporting graphical display from one AM1808 to another?

Hi,

I have an AM1808 connected to a graphical LCD running a Qt based application (as in the LogicPd AM1808 experimenters kit). What I would like to do is to export the graphical display to a second AM1808 connected to an LCD via an ethernet connection between the two processors - in essence creating a remote display. Is something like this possible / feasible using the AM1808, and if so what are my options? In the end I want to replace the "source" AM1808 with a larger Sitara device without an LCD connected, but I want to keep the AM1808 based remote display.

Qt does support a VNC option for rendering. Has this been tried ?

Hi Prabindh,

Thanks for the response! Yes, we are going to use Qt with the built-in VNC server option. If I may ask another question: What VNC client would you recommend? This is for an embedded application so none of the many PC versions would work. Can you recommend an open-source VNC client? The client side hardware is an OMAP AM1808 ARM running Linux, and connected to a standard 640 x 480 LCD display. I do not need an X11 server or a graphical desktop - just to display the graphical content generated by the Qt app.

The vnc viewers I am aware of, use X. You can use Angstrom, and install vncviewer package.
