How to make Pandaboard ES(OMAP4460) output 1920x1200@60Hz from DVI

Hi,

I'm using Android 4.0 (Kernel 3.2.0) on a Pandaboard ES(OMAP4460). I got the Android and the kernel from chipsee.

I have tried to modify one of the Panel Configurations inside the panel-generic-dpi.c to 1920x1200 @60Hz (pixel clock = 154MHz).

However, the DSS_PCLK(Pin16 of J4) can only output about 80MHz!

My question is how to modify the kernel to make Pandaboard output the 1920x1200 @60Hz timing.

I can point you to a pair of patches that we use on ICS to enable WUXGA.

Once you have those pulled into your kernel, these timings are known to work:

Hi, Matt

Something i don't understand, the first and second step is modify files about HDMI, but the purpose is set DVI output.

So why not modify any files about DVI
