We have a customer meeting some issue as below.
When the capacity is low in the backup battery connected @ Vbackup pin, we found Vbackup voltage has a sudden drop at the moment that main power (VCC7 & VCCS) is removed. This will causes RTC lost. We wonder it could be related to a sudden current drawn from VCC7 to Vbackup. To prove this, we add an diode as attached plot, and found the issue can be solved. Can you let us know if there’s any side effect with this diode? Thanks!
