Hello,

I'm working on TMS320C6670 to develop an LTE-based application for my company. I want to ask whether Texas Instruments provides some library specific for LTE protocol or not.

The library I need, for example, is for PDSCH processing which has some moduls in transmitter end like

CRC Transport Block
Codeblock Segemantation
Codeblock CRC
Turbo Code
Rate Matching
Interleaving
Codeblock Segmentation
Scrambling
Modulation
I/FFT
Cyclic Prefix Insertion

Can anybody please tell me where can I find the library for them if TI provides it, please? I'll appreciate for any help

You mean, someone would implement complete chain of baseband processing and give out for free? Hard to believe.

CRC calculation is general procedure, examples of efficient table driven implementation available on the web.For other try to look in TI's examples.

according to the whitepaper spry149c (http://www.ti.com/lit/wp/spry149c/spry149c.pdf), TI provides LTE Lib software for the tms320tci6618.

afaik the TMS320C6670 has the same specification as the tms320tci6618. Is there any chance that i can get the tms320tci6618 LTE Lib software to work with the TMS320C6670 ?

Hi Anugerah,

Upto modulation part you can use BCP co processor given in 6670 device and for IFFT/FFT there is FFTC coprocessor .

You need to take care of their configurations and Queues related issues to push and pop out of these Coprocessor and it is responsibility of the application .

So you need to know about Queue Management subsystem.

Alternatively , You can also do these things through software. As you said , you can use LTE TI Library for the purpose.

They do provide it for the customers.

Can you please tell me where can I find the LTE Library? Is it available in TMS320C6670-EVM installation CD, or I need to download it manually from TI website? If it's from TI website, can you give me the link?

TI has a complete LTE Library available for Keystone devices. It is a licensed and fee based software deliverable, which requires a software license agreement. If you are interested, let us know and can put you in contact with the right people.
