How to load h264 TestAppDecoder project and TestAppEncoder project to simulator configuration?

After extract C66x_h264vdec_02_04_00_03_ELF.exe and C66x_h264venc_02_04_00_03_ELF.exe , the .out file only can be loaded onto evm6678. If I change the Target Configuration File as C6678 Device Functional Simulator,Little Endian, the .out file can't be loaded.

How to modify the project or the code file to make it can be loaded to simulator?

Please clarify, are you getting an error message when loading? What is the error message. Was this built for Little Endian (was the EVM set to Little Endian?)

Hi May,

For C6678 codec unit test applications, if a .out file can be loaded onto EVM, we should be able to load it to Functional Simulator also without any code changes.

What's the symptom you are seeing when loading onto Functional Simulator is not successful? What version of CCS and Simulator you are using? With the same setup, are you able to load other .out files (e.g., simple "Hello World" .out file) to C6678 Functional Simulator?

Thank you. The problem is I put the simulator target configuration file in a wrong location, when I put it in the filefolder under the default project directory of ccs5, everything is ok.
