Capture MT9P031 sensor without chaining the IPIPE

Hi all,

I would like to capture an image from MT9P031 sensor using GStreamer pipeline without chaining the IPIPE (Precisely, I would like to capture a raw bayer image).

I've seen some examples of GStreamer pipelines using the v4l2src. Those examples use the chain-ipipe property which seems to be what I am looking for.

My problem is that I can't find code/package that contains this property. I've looked at gstreamer-ti without any success so far.

Can you direct my to code with this feature?

Hello, Sheldon!

DaVinci codecs, e.g. DM36x, work with YUV, MT9P031 send data in RAW. If you can transform RAW to YUV I think you can not used IPIPE.

Hi,

I don't want convert the RAW data to YUV.

All I want is to capture the RAW data without going through the ISIF.

Desired Path: Sensor --> ISIF --> Memory

I believe that the chain-ipipe property can provide me this capability.
