Codec Server Datasheet

Expert 2030 points

What parameters should I set in order to get a more verbose package/info/bin/(serverName).DataSheet.html for our DSP server build ? I am using TI81xx EZSDK with codec engine 3_22_01_06. The default datasheet generated from codec engine example folder does not show cache optimization or DSP clock rate. Some thing like this would be ideal.

Thanks

  • RV,

There does not seem to be anyone on the BIOS forum who can answer this question.  I am moving this thread over to the codec forum in hopes that it may get a faster response there.  RTSC/XDC is an open source project under Eclipse, so you could also try posting your question to their forum:

    Good Luck,

  • Moved back to BIOS Forum.  :)  This is a Codec Engine feature when building a Server in a BIOS environment, so we should be able to address this in the BIOS forum.

RV, there's no "more verbose datasheet" setting to enable - what you're seeing is all you get.

Some configured settings in that generated datasheet (e.g. the DSP clock rate) weren't brought forward when CE moved from BIOS 5 (in CE 2.x) to BIOS 6 (in CE 3.x).  We could consider restoring some in future releases, like the clock rate.  Are clock rate and 'Cache Optimization' settings all you feel you're missing?

  • Yes.  Clock rate and 'Cache Optimization' settings were what I was looking for.

    Thanks
