DCAN + J1939 software stack for DM814x

Hi all,

We want to develop a DM814x based product for a vehicle.

To read the vehicle's speed, throttle position etc, we will have JBUS/J1939 interface with CAN controller.

Does anyone have any idea, whether TI or any other vendor provides J1939 software stack or not ?

Any details regarding J1939/DCAN will be highly appreciated.

Simma Software (SS) designs and develops high level CAN protocols (J1939, CANopen, ISO 15765, MilCAN) for all of TI's MCUs and CAN peripherals, including the DCAN you're asking about. SS also supports J1587/J1708 (older heavy-duty/commercial vehicles) and UDS (EU heavy-duty/commercial vehicles).
