DM8127IPNC video goes wild overnight

It's the 2nd time this happened. This morning I came to the office, noticed the HDMI display is frozen. I opened web browser, I can still see streaming video there, although it's completely crap, at very slow frame rate. The cortex-a8 is 90% idle, over 40MB kernel memory free. I see periodic output from console:

Usecase is Active !!!
 [m3vpss ]  ==================== CameraLink_PrintDetails ====================
 [m3vpss ]  69920385: CAMERA: Fields = 4193428 (fps = 59, CPU Load = 22)
 [m3vpss ]  69920385: CAMERA: Num Resets = 0 (Avg 0 ms per reset)
 [m3vpss ]  =================================================================
 [m3vpss ]  69924216: CAMERA: Fields = 3602 (fps = 60), Total Resets = 0 (Avg 0 ms per reset)

This will recover if I cycle the power.

I just got the IPNC, still trying to figure it out. I haven't modified anything yet, it's running full feature RDK2.8 kernel/roofs/uboot from NAND.

Here's the image captured from h264 stream
