USB1.1/2.0 on OMAP-L138

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138

Hi

Custom board based on OMAP-L138. I'm failing with the USB ports.. using dvsdk_omapl138-evm_04_03_00_06.

I've tried following the steps from this site:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Building_PSP_Components_for_OMAP-L138_on_v3.x_Kerenl

When I connect a usb stick to the USB2-0 port nothing happens.

When I connect to 1.1 the output is:

usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using ohci and address 2
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -62
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -62
usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using ohci and address 3
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -62
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -62
usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using ohci and address 4
usb 1-1: device not accepting address 4, error -62
usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using ohci and address 5
usb 1-1: device not accepting address 5, error -62
hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1

Please advise!!

  • Koteich,

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I have having the same issues.

I am moving from the a previous PSP, 2.6.33 kernel to the newer 3.3 kernel. The 2.6.33 kernel gave me no issues, but USB just seems broken now with the 3.3 kernel. If you fixed your problem it would be appreciated if you could share your experience.

    All the best

    Wayne
