Genius 3400 points

The wis-stream has support RTSP Protocol in DM368,the rtspServerPortNum is 8557.whether it  support RTP/RTCP Protocol or not?if support   RTP/RTCP,what is the RTP Port Num and TPCP Port Num? videoRTPPortNum is 6016 in wis-stream,but I capture net package is 6970?why?

  • who can help me for this question?thank a lot.

  • Hi Gomo,

    You can set ports in :
    ipnc_app\network\live\appro\wis-streamer.cpp

    For multicast you can set ports  here :
    {
    msg_type = LIVE_MSG_TYPE9;
    video_type = VIDEO_TYPE_H264;
    rtspServerPortNum = 8557;
    H264VideoBitrate = 12000000;
    videoRTPPortNum = 6032;
    audioRTPPortNum = 6034;
    }

    But for unicast, there are many clients posible from the same client IP, so each client will have unique port number.
    Default starting port is 6970, which you are seeing.(audio is +1), next client video port is +2.
    You can set  new start port nuber in wis-streamer at OnDemandServerMediaSubsession constructor. Constructor can take additional parameter InitialPortNum.

     in wis-streamer change from  :

    WISServerMediaSubsession::WISServerMediaSubsession(UsageEnvironment& env, APPROInput& Input,unsigned estimatedBitrate)
      : OnDemandServerMediaSubsession(env, True
    /*reuse the first source*/),    fWISInput(Input) {
      fEstimatedKbps = (estimatedBitrate + 500)/1000;
    }

    TO e.g initial port 21510.

    WISServerMediaSubsession::WISServerMediaSubsession(UsageEnvironment& env, APPROInput& Input,unsigned estimatedBitrate)
      : OnDemandServerMediaSubsession(env, True, 21510
    ),    fWISInput(Input) {
      fEstimatedKbps = (estimatedBitrate + 500)/1000;
    }
