DM8168EVM, video capture interfaces.

Hello, everyone.

We have one unit of DM8168EVM (Spectrum Digital) and some questions.

Is it possible to attach CCD or CMOS to DM8168?

What interfaces can we use to capture video apart from those on EVM?

    Hi,

    DM8168 doesn't have ISP so even if you connect cmod or ccd, you will have to convert Bayer patern to YUV using software. Video capture port can take BT656 and BT1120 kind of inputs. DM8148 can be used to connect sensors. On EVM there is not capture available. Capture is available with daughter cards on top of EVM. Please contact your local TI representatives for daughter card information.
