Video is not playing in android 4.0.4 ICS

Hi,

I am trying to run video in android 4.0.4 ICS. But while running video in gallery from my SD card, I getting below error message.

"Sorry, this video cannot be played"

Please suggest me any solutions to solve this.

    If You do a logcat from terminal or using ADB, this must show some information about why the error is happening.

    Some questions to do are:

    1. Is this happening only with this file?

    2. Is it happening all the time with the same file? or all of a specific coding feature being used?

    3. If it plays for some time then fails, is this failure in the same part of the file?

    4. Is it a video recorded in the same device? or you got it from Internet? or it has special configuration to test?

    5. Can you describe what is at the screen when it fails? is it just failing? or present some distortion or artifacts before failing?

    6. Can you provide the release you are using? 4AI1.4P1 or other?
