Hi,

I am using LM3S9B96 Cortex M3 ARM in our project and I am aware about CCS 4.1. with Cortex Microcontroller.

I am new in ARM processor AM1808.

I have just start programming in AM1808, I have Calixto make AM10808 SOM module.

In this we want to download program through UART.

I have following tools for programming of AM1808.

- Code Compose Studio CCS V4.1

- AISgen_d800k006_Install_v1.5

- UART Boot Host.

- Pin Setup Utility

Pls help & suggestion in following terms....

1) How can I make program of LED blink on any one GPIO of AM1808 in CCS V4.1.

2) How can I download LED blink Hex in to the AM1808 SOM module through UART.

3) What is the procedure of download Win CE 6.0 into the AM1808.

4) Also Pls let me know which tools use for which purpose.

We already provide a LED blink example on AM1808 on this wiki

The project is a CCSv3.3 project which you can import in CCSv4. Follow the steps mentioned for OMAPL138 but you do not need an ARM UBL to bring DSP out of reset.

In the AISGen file just use the out file you built from the folder OMAPL138-ARM-LED/Debug. On creation of the AIS Image, use the instructions on this wiki to flash image using either Serial flashing utility or by using the Flash Writers or use UART boot mode and use the serial load utility to provide the boot image.

I understand the how can download program in AM1808 by using your given link.

Now, I confuse in one thing,,,,3443.Calixto_StandardSOM_mux_V1.xls

I have SOM module and we have got pin multiplex excel from the Calixto Systems Pvt Ltd. of this SOM Module. (I attached here)

Pls let me know how can i integrate this excel with my application program.

Also I have Pin multiplexing Utility and we get from *.pin file from this software, Pls let me know how can i integrate this file in our application or what useful of this Pin multiplex Utility.
