I2C Test Mode using SCL Counters

Hi

I am testing I2C-3 of omap-3530, in F/S mode. I wish to test the frequency of the SCL. So I configured the PSC, SCLL and SCLH registers and run test mode. I configured test mode register to generate a permanent clock using TMODE as 0x2. But when I checked I saw one SCL pulse. Please confirm is it like this or it will give continuous clock output?
