Are you using BIOS5 or SYSBIOS/BIOS6? Do you have the RTDX enabled and the RTA Agent configured in the BIOS configuration file? It may be best to start with the stairstep example provided as a BIOS template (for both BIOS5 and SYSBIOS) and see if RTA is working as expected with the example.

Amiram,
I just tried this with a LogicPD board with C6748 SOM and was able to get the Raw Logs and Printf logs to update while the program was running, but just once. Since then I have power cycled the board and retried a few times but each time the views are updated only when the target is halted. I will move this thread to the BIOS forum so the experts there can comment further on the expected behavior and what may be causing this.
Not that I know of ...
RTA still does not work in real time and CPU usage is not working at all.
Amiram,
I'm sorry to report that as of 6/24/2010, RTDX is no longer supported by TI's software and hardware products, including CCS4, CCS5, DSP/BIOS, and SYS/BIOS.

I couldn't access the links Alan mentioned above so not sure if they refer to the System Analyzer. System Analzyer supports realtime SYSBIOS instrumentation. See the Wiki for Tutorials/Getting Started/User Guides/etc. http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php?title=Multicore_System_Analyzer.
