I am trying to run the mcfw without system_server etc. RDK version is 2.8
What I have changed:
1. in /etc/init.d/finish.sh, replaced call of system_server with ipnc_rdk_mcfw.out
2. in /opt/ipnc/init.sh added cmemk after loading syslink
3. running ubuntu11.10 armel instead of Arago rootfs
4. uboot/kernel/rootfs are all in the SD card
The result:
1. I see live video on the monitor, except that the color is way off(looks like negative) and constantly changing in dramatic fashion. I suspect the AEWB is working properly.
2. I don't see the periodic print on the console.
