Is C6748 UART/RS232 Full-Duplex?

HI,

I am using C6748 UART as RS232 port. During sending a large file from PC to DSP, if I send some data back to the PC, DSP will miss some data from the PC. If DSP does not send anything back, it can get all the data from PC. Does the UART/RS232 support full-duplex?

I am using the pspdrivers_01_30_01. Is there a setting I can use to enable duplex?
